The candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put in place proper accounting system and internal control mechanism and ensure the systems function effectively<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the effective planning of financial resources and the provision of relevant financial information for management decision making<\/li>\n<li>Initiate financial policies and ensure the implementation of the policies in accordance with financial regulations and accounting standards<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to finance staff to ensure efficient use of human resources<\/li>\n<li>Advise management on all financial matters of the hospital<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospective candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of ten (10) years related experience, five (5) years of which must be in a senior position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested persons with the above requirements should submit six sets of applications each containing:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Application letter<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae with names and addresses of two (2) referees<\/li>\n<li>Copies of academic and professional certificates<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applicants should reach the address below:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>The Chief Executive Officer<br \/>\nTamale Teaching Hospital<br \/>\nP.
