\n\u2022 Ensures the highest clinical standards are met in the provision of surgical care
\n\u2022 Performs outpatient clinics ad ward rounds
\n\u2022 Performs endoscopy (Upper GI, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy)
\n\u2022 Ensures regular clinical audits are done to improve quality of care
\n\u2022 Facilitates development and updates of clinical protocols and guidelines for the effective management of surgical patients
\n\u2022 Contributes to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
\n\u2022 Provides clinical leadership in the surgical unit
\n\u2022 Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A valid certification with the Medical & Dental Council (MDC)
\n\u2022 Postgraduate Fellowship in General Surgery (GCPS, WACS or any other institution recognised by the MDC)
\n\u2022 Must possess practical work experience not less than 3 years post fellowship
\n\u2022 Work experience in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy is highly essential
\n\u2022 Work experience in Laparoscipic Surgery is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Critical, analytical and attention to detail is a requirement for this role<\/p>\n
