\nDEPARTMENT:<\/strong>\u00a0Communications
\nREPORTS TO:<\/strong>\u00a0CEO<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Create and implement an annual communication strategy;
\n\u2022 Manage the production and distribution of reports, presentations, press releases and announcements produced by ATI;
\n\u2022 Write and edit press releases, in-house newsletters, presentations, speeches, articles, promotional material and annual reports;
\n\u2022 Produce ATI\u2019s annual report, which includes coordinating input from management and all stake-holders and production;
\n\u2022 Work with HR to create an internal communications plan that will incorporate targeted messaging to help foster an environment of transparency and unity;
\n\u2022 Plan and implement PR campaigns;
\n\u2022 Act as the company\u2019s spokesperson when required;
\n\u2022 Media management \u2013 develop and maintain good working relationships with the media, including domestic and international newspapers, magazines, radio and television;
\n\u2022 Expand media database to include contacts at top-tier international media outlets;
\n\u2022 Work with the Underwriting and relevant departments in reviewing, updating, and producing marketing brochures, handouts, and multimedia and digital products;
\n\u2022 Answer enquiries from individuals, journalists and other organizations; and
\n\u2022 Manage organization of special events, such as ATI\u2019s annual international Roundtable, AGM-related activities, office launches, workshops, press conferences and exhibitions.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations or related field Professional Qualification
\n\u2022 Professional qualification in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Experience working in an international financial institution, an investment insurance environment and a multi-cultural environment will be an asset Skills and Attributes
\n\u2022 Knowledge and experience in marketing;
\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex issues into clearly written articles, speeches and press releases;
\n\u2022 Demonstrated skills in creating and implementing communications strategies in large institutions; and
\n\u2022 Experience in designing and implementing short, long-term strategic marketing and\/or PR plans.<\/p>\n
