We also provide equal employment to all participants and employees without regard to race,\u00a0color, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran or marital status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Overview and Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0position will be on a USAID\/Ghana project that\u00a0addresses a key\u00a0constraint restricting the development of commercial agriculture and obtaining full food security in Ghana \u2013 access to finance necessary to enable investment in agricultural value chains.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Driver\u00a0will be responsible\u00a0for providing\u00a0secure transportation in and outside of town to project staff as requested to facilitate project activities, and with clearance from the\u202fOffice\u00a0Manager or Director of Finance and Administration.\u202fS\/he will report directly to the Director of Finance and Administration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u202fThe Driver will be responsible for the following:<\/li>\n<li>Drive responsibly at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the vehicle use is in accordance with the Project\u2019s Vehicle Use Policy<\/li>\n<li>Ensure cars documents, title and registration, insurance and any other documentation as required by local law are correct and up to date<\/li>\n<li>Record vehicle movement and purchases of fuel and lubricants accurately in the vehicle\u00a0log book<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the vehicle in a clean, secure, and good condition<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that there is adequate fuel and supplies, including First Aid supplies,\u202fin the vehicle at all time<\/li>\n<li>Collect vehicle\u202fmileage for all project vehicles at the end of each month for the\u00a0project Accountant to track<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the need for servicing of, and repairs to, the vehicle. Keep\u202fOffice Manager\u00a0and Director of Finance and<\/li>\n<li>Administration\u00a0informed of\u00a0concerns, and\u00a0ensure that vehicles are properly maintained using local service providers identified in compliance with project guidelines and approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid fines for improper parking or for other motoring offenses<\/li>\n<li>Keep driving license current and unblemished<\/li>\n<li>Provide airport transfers for project expatriate staff and consultants<\/li>\n<li>Provide transfers to and from project sites for project staff and consultants, and for local staff traveling on project business<\/li>\n<li>Transport project staff to appointments and meetings, with particular attention to following safe driving habits and timelines<\/li>\n<li>Transport\u202fdocuments, supplies or materials between project offices or work sites as requested by project staff<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks as requested by the\u00a0Director of Finance and Administration\u00a0and COP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong\u00a0verbal communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s\u00a0license<\/li>\n<li>Professional and mature\u00a0demeanor\u00a0and conduct<\/li>\n<li>Ghanaian nationals preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Palladium is a global leader in the design, development and delivery of Positive Impact \u2013 the intentional creation of enduring social and economic value.
