Scania West Africa was established in 2014 as a captive distributer in Ghana with the responsibility to build up and develop a non-captive dealer network in West Africa. Job Title:\u00a0Mining Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

ROLE SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mining Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them. He\/she has the operational responsibility to steer the sales of mining related activities in the market and business aiming at reaching Scania\u2019s commercial targets in the area.
\nRESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u2022 Implement and foster the Scania Sales Mindset in the area. Lead by example
\n\u2022 Foster a result and customer oriented mind-set
\n\u2022 Execute the Sales Strategy based on structured sales, Retail Sales Management (RSM) through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach
\n\u2022 Take responsibility for Business Plan implementation
\n\u2022 Identify new business opportunities
\n\u2022 Develop and promote Scania products and services
\n\u2022 Collect sales data to create forecasts and action plans for sales strategies and lead time
\n\u2022 Ensure that relevant financial and statistical reports are compiled, analysed for further improvements
\n\u2022 Monitor market and competitor activity, trends and demands
\n\u2022 Identify deviations and generate appropriate action plans
\n\u2022 Implement and develop structured sales (RSM) through a CRM approach
\n\u2022 Interact with and visit prospects and customers regularly
\n\u2022 Understand and act according to the Scania way frame work
\n\u2022 Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate them
\n\u2022 Contribute in daily follow-up, daily steering
\n\u2022 Participate and contribute in improvement activities based on a standardized working method<\/p>\n

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
\n\u2022 University education in a relevant discipline such as business, marketing etc.
\n\u2022 Master\u2019s Degree would be an added advantage
\n\u2022 Relevant business knowledge and minimum 4-10 years\u2019 experience in a similar role
\n\u2022 Sales experience preferably in the heavy vehicle or a related industry
\n\u2022 Extensive sales experience in heavy vehicle or related industry
\n\u2022 Preferred technical qualification within the automotive or associated industry
\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
\n\u2022 Strong computer literacy and good working knowledge in the most common windows based programs
\n\u2022 Fluent in English & French<\/p>\n
