They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify partnership opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand<\/li>\n<li>Maintain existing business<\/li>\n<li>Think critically when planning to assure project success<\/li>\n<li>Planning and overseeing new market initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and mapping business strengths.<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the value of current members and partners while attracting new ones.<\/li>\n<li>Contacting potential members and partners to establish rapport and arrange meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Finding and developing new markets and improving revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Following industry trends locally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>Writing proposals for project funding and sponsorships.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and reviewing project contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating with stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 4 years\u2019 prior industry-related business development experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies<\/li>\n<li>Focused and goal-oriented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
