Hilton Foundation to undertake a market and feasibility assessment to determine the most appropriate market based sustainable and scalable water and hygiene solutions for rural communities in Ghana. SWN therefore seeks a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead this initiative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plan, develop, lead and organize an effective strategy and work plan for executive the program consistent with the project proposal and monitor progress against plan including milestones and budgets<br \/>\nDevelop and implement the relevant program initiatives, impact evaluations and case studies and understand and capture results of the various studies to be performed in connection with the program<br \/>\nLead the assessment and engagement of consultancies, organizations, research firms, academic institutions, local NGOs and financing organizations to execute the objectives of the grant<br \/>\nDevelop TOR&#8217;s for short and long term consultancies in collaboration with the Country Director and in line with the requirements of the grant<br \/>\nPerform analysis and research in key program areas such as demand generation, marketing strategies, health and hygiene education, financing, economic models and scale strategies<br \/>\nEngage stakeholders across sectors including government agencies, corporate, and NGOs<br \/>\nSupport the development and documentation of solutions that can be scaled, and identify scale strategies<br \/>\nCoordinate the activities of all other implementation partners<br \/>\nCollate reports from partners and consolidate for submission to the donor<br \/>\nManage program files and ensure interim and final reports and other deliverables, are submitted in line with agreed timelines<br \/>\nOrganize forums to showcase the results of the work, disseminate learning&#8217;s and build support within the sector<br \/>\nAssume other assignments as may be deemed necessary for the successful and effective implementation of the program<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Masters degree in Social Sciences; Financial Management, Public Health, Environmental Science, Market Research, Business or Economics from a reputable institution. A minimum of 8-10 years experience in related activities with a minimum of five of those in the Water Sector and three in a position of team leadership\/management<br \/>\nMinimum of 2-3 years experience and proven track record of managing rural engagement\/assignments\/social work in villages or service operations<br \/>\nStrong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth<br \/>\nKnowledge of Ghana&#8217;s political, regulatory, social, cultural and business practices as well as exposure to international markets<br \/>\nProven ability to deliver on time and within budget<br \/>\nAbility to operate in a start-up environment, requiring a highly focused but appropriately flexible exercise of resources and judgment<br \/>\nGood interpersonal skills, ability to be both a team leader and team player to work with people of varied backgrounds<br \/>\nAbility to prioritize, organize and carry out multiple tasks efficiently under pressure<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral<br \/>\nProficiency in computer applications &#8211; Word, Excel, Microsoft Project<br \/>\nCapable of delivering reports of the highest quality and standards<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested Persons should send a full CV with professional profile to the following address: <strong>africahire@hotmail.com<\/strong> or to:<\/p>\n<p>The Regional Director<br \/>\nSafe Water Network<br \/>\nP.
