Within the role, you will report to the Technical Services Manager and work with key stakeholders across the business managing all tenement administration activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Tenement &amp; GIS Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The main responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Management and updating the Lease Control database<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaison with site-based tenement administrators<br \/>\n\u2022 Completion of applications and submissions to the various government authorities<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist geology personnel to achieve compliance with the usual regulatory bodies<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide all relevant stakeholders with timely advice<br \/>\n\u2022 Grow strong working relationships with teams at site<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills highly regarded would be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competency in Lease Control software<\/li>\n<li>A working knowledge of GIS applications<\/li>\n<li>A legal background or tertiary qualifications in Law or Geology desirable<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work with large multi-cultural teams.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organised and a strong attention to detail and record management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am currently seeking applications for a Tenements &amp; GIS Officer to join an operation in West Africa.
