BACKGROUND<\/strong><br \/>\nSparkassenstiftung f\u00fcr internationale Kooperation in partnership with four local organizations has been organizing a number of Business Games nationwide. The goal of these interactive educational games is to improve business knowledge and financial literacy of returnees form Germany and other countries as well as of vulnerable members of the host communities.<br \/>\nII. PURPOSE OF ROLE<br \/>\nThe impact on the business of participants of these interactive games is to be assessed. The intern will take over tasks to organize and control the implementation of a survey and also help with capturing data and data analysis.<br \/>\n<strong>III. SCOPE OF WORK<\/strong><br \/>\nThe scope of the intern\u2019s tasks includes, among others:<\/p>\n<p>1. Liaise with Ghanaian partner organizations about the collection of data<\/p>\n<p>2. Provide advice to partner organisations and support data collection<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Monitor and quality check incoming data<\/p>\n<p>4. Key-in data and cross check results<\/p>\n<p>5. Analyse data<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Prepare a short report on the results including graphical depiction<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV. QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants for this position should possess the following qualification and soft skills:<\/p>\n<p>Student in tertiary education in economics, finance, social science or related disciplines<\/p>\n<p>Excellent knowledge and practical experience in the use of MS Excel<\/p>\n<p>Sound statistical understanding<\/p>\n<p>Good communication and teamwork skills<\/p>\n<p>Flexible and partner-oriented communication on different levels<\/p>\n<p>Ability to build good relationship with partner organizations<\/p>\n<p>Results orientation and the drive to get things done<\/p>\n<p>Twi speaker, additional Ghanaian languages are an asset<\/p>\n<p>Confident user of the MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).<\/p>\n<p><strong>V.\u00a0 OUR OFFER<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00b7<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0 Diversified work environment in an international development cooperation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Job Title: Intern Reports directly to: Senior project officer Location: Accra, Ghana Duration: 4 months I.
