{"id":5501,"date":"2011-09-19T08:03:31","date_gmt":"2011-09-19T08:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5501"},"modified":"2016-11-25T09:40:32","modified_gmt":"2016-11-25T09:40:32","slug":"marie-stopes-international-ghana-msig-procurement-logistics-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/marie-stopes-international-ghana-msig-procurement-logistics-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"Marie Stopes International Ghana (MSIG): Procurement &#038; Logistics Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em><strong>Marie Stopes International Ghana (MSIG)<\/strong> has vacancies for well-organised, client-oriented and multi-tasked individuals with relevant qualifications and experience to occupy the under listed vacancy in the organisation.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertake efficient tendering, evaluation, placement and monitoring of a portfolio of contracts<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and whole life costing<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an accurate filing system of general administrative documentation, proposals, tenders journals and catalogues<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with suppliers&#8217; freight agents and any other parties involved to ensure orders are packaged and received as efficiently as possible<\/li>\n<li>Manage with the chief driver, the organisation&#8217;s fleet of vehicles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The person must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a Bachelor of Arts Degree or HND in Purchasing &amp; Supply<\/li>\n<li>Be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing &amp; Supply<\/li>\n<li>Have operated in similar position for at least 3 yrs<\/li>\n<li>Have some knowledge of the procurement market both locally and internationally<\/li>\n<li>Be honest, hardworking and willing to do extra hours<\/li>\n<li>Have integrity and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>These are local position.
