{"id":5511,"date":"2011-09-20T04:32:49","date_gmt":"2011-09-20T04:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5511"},"modified":"2016-11-24T16:07:10","modified_gmt":"2016-11-24T16:07:10","slug":"perseus-mining-ghana-ltd-careers-mining-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/perseus-mining-ghana-ltd-careers-mining-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Perseus Mining Ghana Ltd Careers: Mining Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited, formerly Central Ashanti Gold Limited, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the position.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nThe Mining Manager, reporting to the Production Manager, will be responsible for the everyday management of the contract mining operations at the Edikan Gold Mine, located near Ayanfuri in Ghana.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the mining contractor, mine geology, mining engineering and survey functions of this multi-pit operation<\/li>\n<li>In addition, ensuring the mining operations are carried out in a safe working environment and that the department achieves scheduled production within budgeted costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<br \/>\n<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful applicant will have a minimum of 6 years&#8217; relevant experience in large-scale open pit mining operations, strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, a Ghanaian Mine Managers Statutory Certificate and tertiary education qualifications in Mining Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested, qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
