The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.<\/p>\n<p>You will report to the Senior Financial Accountant as per existing structure and may be amended from time to time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Financial Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties And Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule<\/li>\n<li>Analyse financial information and summarise financial status<\/li>\n<li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance<\/li>\n<li>Plan, assign and review work of more junior team members<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n<li>Working Capital Management and Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Abreast with applicable International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax system<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate knowledge of excel and financial modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares draft income statement and balance sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Compiles and populates records to Trial Balance level.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of IFRS 17<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Effectiveness:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.<\/li>\n<li>Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.<\/li>\n<li>Accepts and lives the company values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited University<\/li>\n<li>4 to 5 years relevant work experience<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Accountant Preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Execution<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management<\/li>\n<li>Initiating action<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role is a specialised accounting position in business units and is mainly responsible for producing accurate monthly statements for statutory and management purposes.
