{"id":553,"date":"2010-08-06T01:54:25","date_gmt":"2010-08-06T01:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=553"},"modified":"2013-12-27T11:18:21","modified_gmt":"2013-12-27T11:18:21","slug":"adehyeman-savings-and-loans-recruits-deputy-md","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/adehyeman-savings-and-loans-recruits-deputy-md.html","title":{"rendered":"Adehyeman Savings And Loans recruits Deputy MD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adehyeman Savings and Loans Limited (ASL)<\/strong> is a non-bank financial institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana to provide financial services to various parts of Accra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of our expansion program and business strategy, we require the services of a smart, confident, performance oriented and experienced professional to be employed as the Deputy Managing Director &#8211; Operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assists the Managing Director in planning, organizing, supervising, controlling and managing the day \u2013to-day activities of Adehyeman.<br \/>\nProvides assistance with the development of policies, procedures and in implementing the directives issued by the Board.<br \/>\nActs as Managing Director in the absence of the incumbent when so authorized by the Board.<br \/>\nStrategically plans, directs, and oversees all banking operations and ensures optimal service delivery in terms of processing deadlines and quality of service.<br \/>\nIntroduces cost-effective measures, including new technologies, new procedures, and new policies to help the branches achieve their targets, and maintain internal controls.<br \/>\nEnsure key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and key control systems are monitored and updated on a monthly basis to provide assurance on the quality and robustness of controls<br \/>\nEnsures that the IT and MIS needs of the company are met; Supervises the MIS\/ IT function.<br \/>\nAnalyze business processes in all operational areas of the organization and create requirements specification documentation for system design of automated software in order to have consistent and accurate reports.<br \/>\nProvides proposals for the formulation of the information technology strategy of the company and initiates its further development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>University Degree in economics, accounting or business administration; at least 5 years of experience in managing microfinance operations in a \u201cbank\u201d setting or regulated environment; good level of exposure on management information systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special \/ Personal Abilities<\/strong><br \/>\nDetermined personality with initiative, perseverance, ability to motivate and manage a team<br \/>\nCapability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude<br \/>\nExtensive experience in operational business of microfinance institutions<br \/>\nGood knowledge in economic and financial topics<br \/>\nBe a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, coach and Very good communication skills<br \/>\nExperience in supervising a transition to a new management information system preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that only those who meet the requirements of this position should apply and only short listed candidates would be contacted.
