He\/She shall report to the Board of Directors<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a risk management framework for the entire operations of the bank Ensure effective and efficient management of operational Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, interest Rate Risk and IT Risk<\/li>\n<li>Carry out periodic Assessment of effectiveness of controls identified in implementing the Risk Management Framework of the bank<\/li>\n<li>Develop Risk Awareness programme for staff and Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of First Degree in Finance, accounting or related field or<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Accounting \/ Finance and professional certificate<\/li>\n<li>High level understanding of risk and credit management in the Financial sector At least 5 years in banking experience of which 3 years must be in top management level particularly in a rural bank<\/li>\n<li>Well abreast of the financial regulatory environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fast-growing rural bank with Head Office in the Central Region is seeking to employ qualified professionals \/ persons to fill the position of Risk and Compliance Officer.
