We are committed to our team members\u2019 development and empower those who wish to discover different areas of our business or acquire international experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Trade Marketing- Ghana\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Trade Marketing Manager, Ghana &amp; Cameroon Clusters plays a key role in the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Own the Annual Trade Marketing Plan:<\/strong>\u00a0put in place a yearly promotional and activity calendar for Trade Marketing initiatives to improve sales fundamentals in his clusters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-store Excellence:<\/strong>\u00a0track in-store fundamentals with different partners, including the Key Account Manager and BIC Distributors teams.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-store Promotions:<\/strong>\u00a0The Trade Marketing Manager, Ghana &amp; Cameroon Clusters has the responsibility of designing tailored trade promotions for key customers based on shopper profiling (i.e.: Shaver Display and Win program execution, follow-up, and post-analysis).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category Management:<\/strong>\u00a0develop category captainship in the growing modern trade channels across his clusters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES \/ TASKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recommend, develop, and implement consistent Annual Trade Marketing Plans to build and grow BIC Stationery, Lighter &amp; Shaver categories in his clusters, maximizing growth and profit and ensuring achievement of Trade Marketing Objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the implementation of the trade marketing activities for BIC Stationery, Lighter &amp; Shaver which implies working closely with Line Manager, local Business Development Managers and Distributors to achieve the budget.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and analyze reports and demonstrate an understanding of the market, categories, competitors, and customers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify key issues, trends, and opportunities to increase sales and help in growing the West Africa business in volume and value.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and recommend the Stationery, Lighter &amp; Shaver trade marketing budgets for managed countries.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and execute plans accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Supports West Africa Senior Marketing Manager by:\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Appraising Ghana &amp; Cameroon clusters Trade Marketing initiatives by communicating on them via Flash reports, Yammer, Newsletters\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Training BIC \/ Distributors teams when needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"title\">Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>R= Required\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 D = Desired<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>R-<\/strong>\u00a05+ years of Trade Marketing experience in FMCG company<\/p>\n<p><strong>D-<\/strong>\u00a0Working previously within Ghana and Cameroon is a significant plus<\/p>\n<p><strong>R-<\/strong>\u00a0Marketing or Sales degree \/ diploma or equivalent \u2013 BAC+5<\/p>\n<p><strong>R-<\/strong>\u00a0Speaks fluent English and French<\/p>\n<p><strong>R-<\/strong>\u00a0Proficient in the use of MS Office including advanced Excel, intermediate PowerPoint and Word.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R-<\/strong>\u00a0Exposure to external agencies (merchandising, animation, print and POSM agencies \/ suppliers)<\/p>\n<p><strong>D-<\/strong>\u00a0An experience \/ internship in Sales or Account Management and in Marketing is also valuable<\/p>\n<p><strong>D-<\/strong>\u00a0Managerial experience is highly valuable<\/p>\n<section id=\"st-additionalInformation\" class=\"job-section\">\n<p class=\"title\">Additional Information<\/p>\n<p>BIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
