The Bolgatanga Technical University is a public tertiary education institution established by the Technical Universities Act, 2016 (Act 922), as amended. The University was converted from a Polytechnic to a Technical University in April, 2020.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Head of Legal Services<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The Head of Legal Services shall be responsible for all legal matters of the University including but not limited to advising the Vice-Chancellor on contracts being entered into by the University, handling legal suits against the University at the Courts of Justice and any other matters that may be referred to him\/her by the Vice-Chancellor.<\/p>\n Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Applicant must be a practicing lawyer who must have completed his\/her professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law or any other institution recognized by the General Legal Council. \n\u2022 The person must also be a member of the Ghana Bar Association. A Masters\u2019 degree, preferably LL.M or in a related area is required.
\n\u2022 Applicant must have also served as Assistant Registrar in charge of legal services in a University or comparable grade in analogous institution\/organization for at least six (6) years.<\/p>\n
