Responsible for writing significant parts of the report deliverable and communicating findings to the client.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Due Diligence Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your client responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in producing work products that clearly explain key due diligence findings and recommendations to the client, ensuring compliance with EY standards<\/li>\n<li>Challenge the engagement scope and specific procedures and suggest modifications that will better address the client\u2019s needs and concerns<\/li>\n<li>Secure and enhance relationships with senior client management<\/li>\n<li>Assign teams that will exceed the\u00a0client\u2019s expectations in terms of\u00a0 engagement management activities including billing, scheduling, performance evaluations, mentoring, managing client expectations, and identifying additional client needs<\/li>\n<li>Maintain active communication with both partners and clients to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.\u00a0 Proactively identify, document and communicate any changes to the scope of work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your people responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentor staff members in their professional development and career planning<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-the-job performance feedback and periodic performance reviews<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs of staff members<\/li>\n<li>Live our values at all times and encourage team members to do the same<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operational excellence<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review work in accordance with the firm\u2019s policies on a timely basis and in a thorough and constructive manner<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate use of tools and sources of knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Manage risk to the firm by adhering to the risk management policies and procedures and ensuring significant risks are identified<\/li>\n<li>Perform detailed analysis to evaluate potential deal breakers and\/or contract negotiating points<\/li>\n<li>Apply transaction experience and industry knowledge to identify key issues and value drivers that will be critical to the engagement<\/li>\n<li>Link key terms and conditions to areas to be focused on during due diligence<\/li>\n<li>Draft the proposed scope and budget for the financial due diligence engagement with supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of seven years relevant working experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Business development and client relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in mergers &amp; acquisitions, analysing financial and market data, and taking a deal through the full process to successful completion<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns from data to create new data analytics and new reports \/ dashboards as needed<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse each client\u2019s specific investment thesis, determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutions and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience of leading negotiations, divestment or JV transactions,\u00a0Capital market experience (bonds, equity, IPOs, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint (presentations and reports)<\/li>\n<li>Support due diligence process through data management, desktop review, and internal and external project meetings<\/li>\n<li>Assists with the project management aspect of due diligence through approved project management software<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and report major engagement issues and risks to senior management.<\/li>\n<li>People Management Skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related subject<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Take a lead in executing the due diligence procedures.
