{"id":55827,"date":"2021-03-12T09:03:19","date_gmt":"2021-03-12T09:03:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=55827"},"modified":"2021-03-12T09:03:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-12T09:03:19","slug":"ghana-science-association-recruitment-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ghana-science-association-recruitment-2021.html","title":{"rendered":"Ghana Science Association Recruitment 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Procurement \/ Marketing Officer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Develop procurement plans, estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases<br \/>\n\u2022 Create and maintain good relationships with vendors\/suppliers, review and analyze all vendors\/suppliers, supply, and price options<br \/>\n\u2022 Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data<\/p>\n<p><strong>In charge of marketing duties by:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Developing a marketing strategy for the institution in line with its institutional objectives<br \/>\n\u2022 Branding of the organization<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinating marketing campaigns of the institution<br \/>\n\u2022 Planning and coordinating sponsorship drives<br \/>\n\u2022 Organizing publicity activities<br \/>\n\u2022 Advertising and interacting with donors and other stakeholders<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform duties assigned by the SC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Procurement\/Marketing awarded by a recognised university with at least two years post qualification experience.<br \/>\n\u2022 Be conversant with public procurement regulations<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently<br \/>\n\u2022 Accurate and precise attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Airport Residential, Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An application letter addressed to<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Honorary National President<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ghana Science Association,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>P.
