Today, our DBS tools are designed to help us excel in areas of GROWTH, LEADERSHIP and LEAN.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0West Africa Channel Partner Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WATER QUALITY PLATFORM<\/p>\n<p>Danaher\u2019s Water Quality (\u2018WQ\u201d) Platform is part of the Environmental &amp; Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. This is a high-profile role and West Africa is an important market for Hach.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing a Channel Partners strategy in accordance with company business strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Defining, maintaining, refreshing, and explaining Channel Partners related processes, SOPs etc.<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting and filtering new Channel Partners; Terminating existing Channel Partners<\/li>\n<li>Handle Channel Partners\u2019 routine management (distribution agreement, compliance, credit control etc.) in cooperation with other functions.<\/li>\n<li>Consolidating Channel Partners\u2019 periodical reporting<\/li>\n<li>Together with BU, Finance in defining the Channel Partner pricing and management.<\/li>\n<li>Handling the Channel Partners\u2019 performance management: ensuring delivery of annual targets, scorecard, sell-through, RACI, forecasting etc.<\/li>\n<li>Handling Channel Partners\u2019 channel conflicts management: project registration, arbitration etc.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing Channel Partners\u2019 training and development plan and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Together with marketing, supporting Channel Partners\u2019 marketing activities, and sales tools.<\/li>\n<li>Together with Service, building CPs\u2019 service capability.<\/li>\n<li>Embedding new type of channels\u2019 assessment and cooperation building: 2nd tier channel, Engineering Company, operating company, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Receiving Channel Partners\u2019 complaints and coordinating internally to resolve<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining frequent interaction with the Channel Partners\u2019 management team<\/li>\n<li>Any other responsibilities assigned as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Points:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Channel Partner Manager, West Africa will<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report to the Regional Sales Manager who is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates<\/li>\n<li>Be located in Ghana and cover the West African region<\/li>\n<li>Over time, build a team to work with to manage the Channel Partners.<\/li>\n<li>have flexible working hours, including occasional evening and weekend working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>travel to other Hach offices across the region, as well as occasional travel overseas.\u00a0 These will require overnight stays away from home.<\/p>\n<p><b>Professional Qualifications, experience, and attributes<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA or BSc degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, or equivalent experience.
