Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0IT Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The successful candidate will manage CARE International in Ghana\u2019s IT systems working in close collaboration with the CARE LISA Digital Team to ensure the development and use of IT resources in the Country Office (CO) is aligned to organisational policies and strategies.<\/p>\n The incumbent will:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Institute \/ standardize protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 BSc\/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred. We will consider years of practical experience in lieu of a degree. \n\u2022 Advise management on the most suitable IT choices for operational efficiency and effective programme delivery
\n\u2022 On-board, train and refresh staff members to maximise safe use of resources
\n\u2022 Act as the link between end users and higher level support
\n\u2022 Install and configure software and hardware (computers, printers, VOIP
\n\u2022 Monitor system and network performance and security
\n\u2022 Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
\n\u2022 Perform maintenance activities (e.g., backups servers, etc.)
\n\u2022 Maintain licences and upgrade schedules
\n\u2022 Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Certification (CompTIA Network, Comptia Security, CCNA, MSCE or similar) is a plus<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Experience in network management and remote help desk support
\n\u2022 Prior experience in an international organisation a plus<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Understanding of TCP\/IP protocols and LAN\/WAN configuration
\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge of Office 365 apps and environment<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent organizational and coordination abilities and attention to details
\n\u2022 Ability to keep abreast of IT sector developments and apply learning to improve systems and operations Willingness and ability to take initiative and translate ideas into action
\n\u2022 Strong sense of integrity and commitment to excellence<\/p>\n
