Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Tool Maintenance Technician I<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 Under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.<\/p>\n \u2013 Assembles and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.<\/p>\n \u2013 Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.<\/p>\n \u2013 Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.<\/p>\n \u2013 The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.<\/p>\n \u2013 Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.<\/p>\n \u2013 Basic computer skills are preferred.<\/p>\n \u2013 This is the entry level position into the tool tech family.<\/p>\n \u2013 Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.<\/p>\n \u2013 Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.<\/p>\n \u2013 Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.<\/p>\n Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
