The merchandizer ensures the perfect execution of the commercial planning, managing the quality of the content of the promoted products as well as the whole commercial relevancy of the displayed offers.<\/p>\n<p>The merchandizer will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience thanks to the right assortment, a perfect online ergonomics, the best prices and the most innovative marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Owning the merchandising of our website, optimizing the placement of our products to deliver on every levels of Jumia\u2019s strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Executing perfectly the commercial campaigns to ensure an engaging, coherent and addictive value proposition for our customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring the competitiveness of Jumia\u2019s pricing by all means<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Rigorously quality checking the content, pricing, placement, categorization of all products to maximize the conversion rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Animating on a daily basis Jumia\u2019s commercial offer and performance by updating and optimizing product placement across dedicated pages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing price manual price changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Building smart reports to evaluate the impact of the merchandizing efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Working seamlessly with all departments (Commercial, Marketing, Onsite, Operations\u2026), enabling decision making, problem solving and ensuring laser focus execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading massive and complex commercial operations and project management initiatives, coordinating effectively cross functions initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Constantly working toward improving and simplifying our tools, process Constantly working toward improving and simplifying our tools, process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements &amp; Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extremely rigorous, Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, well organized, resistant to stress, passionate, creative and able to work efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Capacity to proof-read, double check, triple check the work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast learner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Very independent with a strong ability to go further than the expectations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong inter-personal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A significant experience in management consulting, retail or e-commerce would be appreciated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office and Excel (VBA would be a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse large data sets to make strategic decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We offer\u00a0 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A unique experience in an entrepreneurial, yet structured environment<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to become part of a highly professional and dynamic team working around\u00a0the world<\/li>\n<li>An unparalleled personal and professional growth given the challenges that we propose you\u00a0to take<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jumia is the leading pan-Africa e-commerce platform.
