A &#8220;Kingdom Bank&#8221;, impelled by the love of Jesus Christ to make a difference in the lives of the economically active poor in Ghana. OISL seeks a like-minded dedicated individual to join its legal team.<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To develop and manage the legal recovery process of the institution and to handle all court proceedings and other legal representations as required.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKey Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and manage the legal recovery process of the Institution;<\/li>\n<li>Draft, edit and review legal documents;<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal advice on all matters relating to Opportunity Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Manage and oversee the organization&#8217;s relations with insurance companies;<\/li>\n<li>Manage and influence decisions in a variety of functional areas including but not limited to business transactions, intellectual property, labour and employment, corporate governance and compliance, government relations and regulation and so on;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in an advisory capacity to the Strategic Business Units (SBUs);<\/li>\n<li>Handle any other assignment that would be given by the Head of Legal Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Law or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Qualified Barrister &amp; Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience which must include litigation experience;<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy and courtroom skills;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of banking operations and experience obtained in a financial institution will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All Applications and CVs must be sent to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@opportunityghana.com\">recruitment@opportunityghana.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Closing date:\u00a007 Oct, 2011<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Opportunity International Savings and Loans is a non-bank financial institution and a member of the Opportunity International network.
