During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Engine Workshop Technician\/Machinist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applies documented procedures and policies to perform diagnostics and complex engine repairs<\/li>\n<li>Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of engine<\/li>\n<li>Coaches and develops technicians and\/or apprentices and transfers knowledge and experience to others; may provide work direction; may review repair plans, parts lists, etc<\/li>\n<li>Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine in the repair\/refurbishment of engine block and other components.<\/li>\n<li>Performs preventative maintenance of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine(s).<\/li>\n<li>Escalates emerging operational issues on the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine to supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role you will need the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Vocational engineering (NVTI\/MVTI) level II &amp; III certification\/engineering diploma\/engineering degree from relevant technical institution\/university.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 year experience using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Advanced level knowledge of and\/or experience with engine products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic\u00a0Engine Workshop Technician\/Machinist\u00a0to join our team specializing in\u00a0Service\u00a0for our\u00a0Distribution Business Segment in Accra, Ghana\u00a0.
