This team\u2019s work is varied. We work in close to 40 different client environments, with new challenges addressed each day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who you are and what you\u2019ll help us accomplish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate has a passion for learning, solving client problems and being the expert within their area, coming up with the best solutions to ensure we are proactive and adaptable to customer and internal needs.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">Science Logic Administrator <\/a>will be responsible for the deployment and support of Fidelus\u2019 Managed Services monitoring and automation tools (ScienceLogic, ManageEngine, etc.) and supporting our internal tool users; ensuring overall healthy platform state, accuracy of device discovery, collector server provisioning and health, and validating correct data collections for devices monitored.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support of internal ScienceLogic users<\/li>\n<li>Device discovery, customer on-boarding, add\/move\/change<\/li>\n<li>Customer collector installation, maintenance, and configuration<\/li>\n<li>System administration of monitoring and reporting platforms<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting data collection issues<\/li>\n<li>Validation of consistent monitoring data and expected data collections<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining event policies based on internal and external customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Fidelus standard monitoring policy is applied consistently to all devices under monitoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role will not supervise a team. Regular supervision will be provided in the first 3-6 months in the role. After the initial ramp up period is over, minimal supervision is expected.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technology Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Linux Server administration: 1+ years RedHat\/Centos\/Oracle preferred<\/li>\n<li>Python, Bash scripting and PHP helpful<\/li>\n<li>1+ years MySQL administration<\/li>\n<li>Solid networking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monitoring Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ScienceLogic Certified Professional highly desired<\/li>\n<li>Prior Monitoring experience desired with ScienceLogic and\/or any of the following: Nagios, PRTG, Nectar, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, etc.<\/li>\n<li>SNMP, SSH, XML data collections<\/li>\n<li>Prior technology Managed Services Provider experience preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requirements: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in information technology or equivalent work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We aren\u2019t a startup (we\u2019re 19 years young), and we aren\u2019t a Fortune 1000 company.
