{"id":56944,"date":"2021-05-03T10:33:27","date_gmt":"2021-05-03T10:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=56944"},"modified":"2021-05-03T10:33:27","modified_gmt":"2021-05-03T10:33:27","slug":"dangote-jobs-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/dangote-jobs-2021.html","title":{"rendered":"Dangote Jobs 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs (Cement Industry)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage media relationships<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate and manage relationship with media representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates all key interactions with partners to ensure the achievement of strategic business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate legal matters with Company Lawyers<\/li>\n<li>Represent the company in all legal matters<\/li>\n<li>Representing Company at Courts Effective reputation management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the reputation of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Developing, implementing and evaluating communication strategies<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring effective two-way internal communication<\/li>\n<li>Taking the lead on media handing, proactively placing good news stories, dealing with inquiries and producing media release<\/li>\n<li>Developing links with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Playing a key role in Issue Management and Planning<\/li>\n<li>Taking editorial responsibility for the organization\u2019s website, and other corporate communications tools<\/li>\n<li>Prepare all media communications content, including digital and social media communication.<\/li>\n<li>Manage effective relationships with all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Manage effective relationships with media stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a first point of contact regarding all media stakeholder engagement and manage the implementation of external communication protocol, processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>In partnership with Marketing and Branding function, facilitate media profiling of the company and maintain the required company image and brand through effective media profiling control.<\/li>\n<li>Where required, act as an alternative spokesperson or media liaison for the company.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing PR and Media Relations plans for target stakeholders, and support the onsite staff and contractors in implementing communications plans.<\/li>\n<li>Write and issue print media background briefings, issue-specific fact sheets, talking points and content for the Group website<\/li>\n<li>Manage day-to-day publicity efforts for TV, radio, print etc.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and edit Public Relations collaterals including press releases, speeches, FAQ, briefing notes, corporate PowerPoint and corporate advertorials.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain working relationship with media outlets, key stakeholders, bringing inaccuracies and errors to the attention of writers and editors in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and oversee press events.<\/li>\n<li>Providing in-house legal advice to management<\/li>\n<li>Handling all in-house contract documents<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with HR, prepare legal responses to the Labour Commission and other government agencies \/ bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>KEY REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven working experience in public relations required.<\/li>\n<li>Effective reputation management<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional writing and editing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Event planning experience.<\/li>\n<li>Media relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Effective crises management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EDUCATION &amp; WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A qualified practicing lawyer with a Degree in Law.<\/li>\n<li>Any other degree in Mass Communication or a related discipline is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of any professional bodies will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 18 years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of cement business and related (Manufacturing) businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of the industry including trends and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of media Relations, including media categories.<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of social media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Private health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Provident Fund<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off<\/li>\n<li>Training and Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Job Title: Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs (Cement Industry)\u00a0 JOB SUMMARY Manage media relationships Cultivate and manage relationship with media representatives.
