The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of\u00a0\u00a0F&amp;B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Tennis Instructor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tennis Instructor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent shall be responsible for teaching\u00a0various tennis programs to include junior programs, lessons, special events and clinics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in supervising play and ensures proper charging of fees, and rental of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the promotion of and conducting tennis clinics, special events and programs in an effort to attract and maintain members\u2019 tennis interests.<\/li>\n<li>Provides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels of players.<\/li>\n<li>Enforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club\/facility, its equipment and other property.<\/li>\n<li>Works cooperatively with other departments to develop combined programs for the membership.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures proper usage and rental of the tennis ball machine.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures proper inspection of the courts\/facilities on a daily basis prior to the start of play and ascertain that all necessary maintenance has been performed and the courts are in a safe working order.<\/li>\n<li>Reports any maintenance problems to the Department Head.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors court usage including special events, clinics and lessons.<\/li>\n<li>Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.<\/li>\n<li>Regular and reliable attendance.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One (1) year\u00a0experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>English \u2013 excellent oral and written skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients\/vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Works in a safe, prudent and organized manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate computer and office equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>People Oriented<\/li>\n<li>Passionate for European luxury<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial<\/li>\n<li>Straightforward<\/li>\n<li>Business Acumen<\/li>\n<li>Sense of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Leader<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinker<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Tolerant and open minded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City \u2013 Accra is the only five-star luxury hotel offering state of the art meeting facilities and services in the city.
