The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor &#8211; Compliance and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) regulation, accounting policies, procedures and controls.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nEssential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and administer the monthly SOx Certification for Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Organize the Compliance monthly testing of SOx and non-SOx controls and prepare reports of testing results<\/li>\n<li>Plan and perform audit work relating to compliance reviews<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and administer Newmont Ghana&#8217;s Internal Audit Management Action Database (IAMAD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are necessarily all inclusive.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university, plus ACCA level II or level III of CA Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years progressive auditing experience in any of the big 4 accounting firms, or with a large mining\/manufacturing company in compliance\/financial reporting role<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish priorities, coordinate and monitor own work, and plan along with those of team members<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of computer systems and accounting software(s)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Especially in Excel, Word, Power point, Visio)<span style=\"font-size: 13px\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for this positions, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<p>All application for the Ahafo Mine position should be sent to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong><\/strong><strong>The Human Resources Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Ghana Gold Limited<br \/>\nP.
