{"id":5756,"date":"2011-10-05T22:23:34","date_gmt":"2011-10-05T22:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5756"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:12:41","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:12:41","slug":"general-manager-careers-in-a-savings-and-loan-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/general-manager-careers-in-a-savings-and-loan-company.html","title":{"rendered":"General Manager Careers in a Savings and Loan Company"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>Our client, a reputable Savings and Loans Company is seeking to recruit a dynamic experienced and results-oriented person with good leadership qualities and enthusiasm to fill the position of General Manager who will report to the Managing Director.<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the Company&#8217;s Banking Operations through the effective implementation of the Board and Management strategies and decisions.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKey Role\/Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership and guidance for the company through co-ordination of the activities of various Departments and Branches<\/li>\n<li>Supervise branches to achieve stated objectives<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the Company&#8217;s general operations, products, competitors, strategies, costs and other risk areas of operations and submit monthly reports to Management for decision making<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the activities of the company&#8217;s credit portfolio to ensure efficient credit management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Monitor potential and existing problem clients<br \/>\nFollow-up on credit recovery and repossession actions<br \/>\nInitiate reviews of and updates of credit risk control measures<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To help design, own and manage appropriate self service channels portfolio (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking,\u00a0Telephone Banking, Web Point of Sale, Messaging Channel etc).\u00a0This includes both the development of strategic frame-work for these channels and overseeing the successful implementation of this strategy to ensure appropriate levels of usage and profitability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of First Degree and\/or a Professional Qualification in\u00a0Banking, Accounting, Finance or any related discipline.
