{"id":5785,"date":"2011-10-10T08:22:45","date_gmt":"2011-10-10T08:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5785"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:12:40","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:12:40","slug":"relief-international-ghana-recruitment-program-finance-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/relief-international-ghana-recruitment-program-finance-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Relief International Ghana Recruitment: Program Finance Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0Relief International Ghana Sr. Finance Manager and Social Enterprise Program Officer<\/p>\n<p>Relief International&#8217;s (RI) Social Enterprise Program works to facilitate the growth of local retailers and its partners through the production, promotion and sale of low cost, high impact technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Manager will be responsible for accounting for and documenting all financial transactions across multiple business ventures for the program and adhered to RI\u00a0accounting procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Setup, establish and monitor internal controls for the Social Enterprise Program in accordance with RI Ghana established regulations and procedures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and send out receipts, bills, invoices, and statements as required, and any other financial documentation for supporting grant or other income<\/li>\n<li>Prepares\u00a0 purchase order, payment vouchers and co-ordinate bidding selection process and issuing certificates, as required by RI accounting procedures in dealing with program expenditure<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Requests for Funds each month through close coordination with program and HQ staff<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly payroll and ensure that all PAYE deductions are paid to the respective organizations and that staff pay slips are distributed to all national staff on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and maintain cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the programs<\/li>\n<li>Monitor ongoing levels of expenditure on individual programs as against budget, and provide timely advice of likely over or under-spends<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile field cash and project expenditure balances in coordination with the program officer<\/li>\n<li>Enter financial data into QuickBooks and send monthly accounts and financial reports to Ghana Sr. Finance Manager, HQ and to the International Comptroller<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements and records for audit by Donor or external audit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Starting salary dependant on experience<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting or finance-related degree and or fully qualified member of a recognized Accounting Professional Association. (Relevant experience may be considered)<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years related experience and\/or training; Expertise in using QuickBooks Accounting Softwares<\/li>\n<li>Substantial demonstrable understanding and experience of finance management within an Interl NGO<\/li>\n<li>Substantial demonstrable understanding and experience of finance management with a business<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and experience with carbon finance projects and micro-finance will be an<\/li>\n<li>Capable of multitasking across several different initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit\u00a0your CV and\u00a0cover letter:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mackenzie.dove@ri.org\">ri.ghana@ri.org<\/a>\u00a0Subject line must include:\u00a0<strong>Social Enterprise Finance Manager, Ghana<\/strong>.
