This role will also provide first-line support for end users on applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Analysis \/ Application Support Lead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties And Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with developers, 3rd party vendors, project managers and business to determine business needs and suggest workable solutions within constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement solutions that is time and cost effective and efficient.<\/li>\n<li>Test systems and user acceptance and implements changes or new applications.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and define requirements for business processes in both New and business improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse business processes to determine problems, risk and opportunities for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Render support and facilitate sessions for end-users, including training.<\/li>\n<li>Document requirements including data modelling, interface layouts, data flows, screen and report layouts, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Own systems, user acceptance testing and implementation of changes or new applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all testing protocols are adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Work with managers and relevant users on feasibility studies and establishing business and systems requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate strategies and guidelines to improve the business environment.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse system or business processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the implementation of new or enhanced processes.<\/li>\n<li>Review processes and conducts process audits, as required.<\/li>\n<li>Design new business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Consult to management (both IT and business) on business procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide End User Support for Business Applications (SLAMS, HFM, QuickBooks, Call Centre, Website and online portals etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Provides first-line support where applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree (Relevant Technology or Business degree), MSc or MBA an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Certification in Business Analysis<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years of analytics and project management experience: Preferable Financial Services or Insurance experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with project management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working as business analysis practice.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with BI and other digital tools will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in data science, big data, analytics, fintech, financial services, digital transformation, digital<\/li>\n<li>Experience in an end user application support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Business Acumen and understanding<\/li>\n<li>Thinking Skills<\/li>\n<li>Technical Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Digitally savvy<\/li>\n<li>Data Analytics<\/li>\n<li>Service Delivery (ITIL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Business Analysis, Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Tools, End User Support, Project Management<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role determines and documents business requirements and works with design, 3rd party vendors and implementation staff to design and implement business IT solutions to meet business requirements.
