Execute projects of complex scope. Involved in developing new processes to meet project needs, and for designing projects to suit the financial, operating, legal, regulatory and operating criteria elements of a project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sales &amp; Business Development Manager \u2013 Mining Automation\/Optimine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver key strategic initiatives for Sandvik\u2019s Digital offering growth.<\/li>\n<li>Increase the market share and to penetrate to market with this offering<\/li>\n<li>Automine and Optimine Sales and commercialization<\/li>\n<li>Automine and Optimine strategy and business model development.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all Automation project sales within the Sales Area together with sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Active customer interaction and relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Sales pipeline management<\/li>\n<li>Sales budgeting, forecasting, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Screen and suggest new offering opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Pricing analyses and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct internal Automine and Optimine sales training<\/li>\n<li>Active collaboration with Sandvik local and global account and sales management teams to drive the sales case<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financials<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be aware of the financial performance of the business and seek to support the Sales group in growing revenue<\/li>\n<li>Manages Responsible for managing sales budget<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for digital offering budgeting, forecasting, and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety Health Environment and Quality<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All employees and workers are required to conduct themselves in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers<\/li>\n<li>The employee or worker must comply with all aspects of the Sandvik Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Policy, and any reasonable instructions, procedures or systems of work which are given in the interest of providing safe workplaces and eliminating environmental harm. workplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Growth and Development<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support the Sales group in generating business by providing assistance with Mining Application \/Method Knowledge, product selection, packaging a number of products and\/or services and developing value propositions, including product enhancements, that suit particular client applications<\/li>\n<li>Review Customer base and determine current mine methods used, tonnages and equipment used in these various applications<\/li>\n<li>Updating CRM<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Product Line Engineers and Global Business Development, as required, to provide information that supports the ongoing development and improvement of Sandvik products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Service<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As appropriate, provide audit and consulting services at client\u2019s sites for the purpose of identifying improvement and value add opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering and\/or any business discipline<\/li>\n<li>Relevant technical certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Expertise<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of mine automation related technology<\/li>\n<li>Undertake to be involved with Mining Engineering houses to assist in mine design suitability for Sandvik Product.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake product application process support from initial conceptualization of solution to delivery of operational outcome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertake training and personal development as agreed in your individual development plan.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high level of awareness of the entire Sandvik Mining product range<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sound understanding knowledge and the experience of bringing new technically advanced solutions to market.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the compilation of tenders.<\/li>\n<li>Project sales and Sales negotiation<\/li>\n<li>An in depth understanding of customer business processes, with at least 5 years\u2019 active involvement with UG mining operations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with any Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology product range would be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed understanding of the mining industry and associated equipment would be essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>License<br
