Pulse is looking to hire an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team to lead our new business process and drive growth & revenue.<\/p>\n

Pulse is Africa\u2019s leading innovative media company, informing and engaging Africa\u2019s young audience and producing content and creative digital marketing solutions for top brands. We run news platforms and social channels and marketing and production in four countries \u2013 Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Senegal.<\/p>\n

We are the platform leading in reach \u2013 with over 100 million users and over 100 million video views on our own channels per month. We\u2019re also a marketing partner, empowering brands with our expansive media reach and 360 degree in-house marketing solutions. Additionally, Pulse is the licensee publisher of the regional Business Insider Africa.<\/p>\n

This role reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and will be based in our Accra office.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lead generation through:<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 research<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 list building using various resources<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 due diligence on any Pulse relationships<\/p>\n

Qualifying leads through:<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Cold calling using a consultative based approach<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Research<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Supporting marketing activities to convert to leads<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Providing relevant information to qualify<\/p>\n

\u25cb\u00a0 Ensure all relevant entries are made accurately.<\/p>\n

Building leads and qualified leads from Pulse through:<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Building Pulse lead lists for each product<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Managing the referral process via calling and emailing business professionals<\/p>\n

Build trusted advisor status within Pulse Ghana<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Provide advisory services for clients and the organization<\/p>\n

\u25cb\u00a0 Conduct analysis to ensure consistent provision of innovative\/top-notch services to clients<\/p>\n

\u25cb\u00a0 Maintain sales and team development by contributing to training and sharing best practices with colleagues.<\/p>\n

Hitting lead and qualified sales quotas by<\/p>\n

\u25cb \u00a0 Developing and presenting digital strategies for prospective clients.<\/p>\n

\u25cb\u00a0 Work with the Director of Digital Strategy to actively propose and help implement new and innovative strategies in order to meet and exceed the company\u2019s overall revenue and profit targets.<\/p>\n
