IFDC has over the years built a solid network of agro-input producers, dealers, farmers, farmer-based organizations, off-takers and processers around the globe. IFDC has been relying on innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the scaling up of fertilizer technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internship \u2013 ICT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Statement of Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IFDC is seeking an outgoing and innovative-minded candidate who is motivated to work in a projectized environment and enjoys working with smallholder farmers, aggregators, processors, transporters, off-takers, and traders, to support the IFDC NBD unit and project teams with performance improvement ICT tools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position offers the intern an opportunity to learn and perform the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly assist the NBD team in presentations and documents formatting and other ICT related project assignments<\/li>\n<li>Assist IFDC projects with innovative digital technology dissemination tools to promote adoption of technologies by farmers<\/li>\n<li>Work with other projects\u2019 team members on processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Using appropriate computer programs, help generate effective visual charts to present project key information to a broad audience<\/li>\n<li>More importantly, assist in data collection, analyses, creation of database and presentation of project findings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Any other duties as deemed necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: preferably a graduate in ICT and Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics, or related subjects<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to demonstrate verbal and written communication, competence in statistical analysis, and reasoning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Basic operation of ICT Hardware (printers, scanners, tablets, projectors etc..)<\/li>\n<li>Editing images using appropriate computer software (Adobe Photoshop\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Using computers and the internet safely<\/li>\n<li>Browsing and posting on Youtube and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of languages used in coding and programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)<\/li>\n<li>Sending and receiving information using data sharing applications and cloud storage systems such as Google Drive or Dropbox<\/li>\n<li>Proposal writing skills and a working knowledge of French is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IFDC is a multinational and independent non-profit organization with over 46 years of experience in profitable and sustainable crop production approaches by combining innovative research, market system development and strategic&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6721,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1978],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"jetpack_shortlink":"https:\/\/wp.me\/p2nO32-f7q","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/58120"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6721"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=58120"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/58120\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=58120"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=58120"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=58120"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
