\n\u2022 Guiding employees on the best work practices by ensuring safe work processes are in place, understood and consistently used by all.
\n\u2022 Set training process targets in compliance with relevant codes of practice.
\n\u2022 Keep up to date training records and all certifications.
\n\u2022 Plan training course content requirements and development.
\n\u2022 Ensure that appropriate programs are designed and implemented.
\n\u2022 Facilitate all skills development processes as the Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
\n\u2022 Develop guidelines and systems for implementation of policies, procedures and codes of practice.
\n\u2022 Finalize the annual training plan.
\n\u2022 Evaluate applications for external technical training to make recommendations of who should attend the training by incorporating technical knowledge.
\n\u2022 Measure employee performance against business requirements in order to identify training needs.
\n\u2022 Monitor and evaluate the performance of all trainees after completion of the training course within a specific time frame<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 3 years within a training department in a heavy industrial environment
\n\u2022 Mincom Training Officer\u2019s certification.
\n\u2022 Possess strong computer skills with exposure to Microsoft office suite.
\n\u2022 Ability to provide specialist environment, health, safety and training operational advice to operations.
\n\u2022 Ability to apply knowledge of all minerals commission legislations and ensure compliance requirements to GMC operations.
\n\u2022 Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to appropriate authority.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently to champion training effort to improved consistency and operational capability.
\n\u2022 Ability to train, coach and mentor the required employees.
\n\u2022 Must have strong observation and analytical skills along with a keen attention to detail, strong sense of urgency and outcomes focused<\/p>\n
