\n\u2022 Optimize drill patterns and metres by communicating with surveyors, geologist and engineers
\n\u2022 Work without maintenance personnel on scheduled service days to ensure all faults and defects are highlighted and rectified.
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety, confidentiality and environmental policies
\n\u2022 Report any environmental incidents as soon as possible and assist as directed in all clean up and containment activities
\n\u2022 Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to at all time
\n\u2022 Respond to complex technical problems, making decisions that are guided by policies
\n\u2022 Prioritize and schedule work that is requested by the department
\n\u2022 Perform any other related job that may be assigned from time to time<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must possess general blasting certificate of competency
\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge and experience with long hole drilling rigs
\n\u2022 Basic electrical and mechanical knowledgeable of long hole rigs
\n\u2022 Ability to read and understand designed production hole plan
\n\u2022 Good communication and written skills
\n\u2022 Knowledge in underground safety and handling of explosives
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently and effective team player
\n\u2022 High regard for safe work practices and procedures
\n\u2022 Willing to work extended hours to achieve tight deadlines
\n\u2022 Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driving License (C and F)<\/p>\n
