{"id":5862,"date":"2011-10-14T06:12:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-14T06:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5862"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:12:35","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:12:35","slug":"octobernovember-job-vacancies-in-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/octobernovember-job-vacancies-in-ghana.html","title":{"rendered":"October\/November Job Vacancies in Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Vacancy: Monitoring and Evaluation\/Learning Program Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0An International NGO is seeking to recruit a Monitoring and Evaluation<strong>(M&amp;E)<\/strong>Learning Program Coordinator who will ensure the development of a central monitoring and evaluation system to coordinate the implementation of program activities in accordance with agency standards.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will report to the Head of Programs and oversee the design, implementation and monitoring of project M&amp;E systems and ensure compliance agency standards.\u00a0<span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Programming Planning and Implementation<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure each project has an appropriate M&amp;E system and in collaboration with Program Managers develop action plans to implement the plans<\/li>\n<li>Provide hands-on technical assistance and coaching to the Agency\u2019s staff and partners to ensure M&amp;E approaches are in-line with agency standards of performance<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement project M&amp;E system assessments, provide assessment findings and recommendation reports to the Head of Program and Program Managers<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of all proposals, providing technical input for the development of results framework (pro-frames) M&amp;E Plans and other key M&amp;E and learning documents.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare overall M&amp;E budget for all activities of the unit<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings and workshops with donor agency and contracted implementing partners.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Agency\u2019s Ghana M&amp;E project database and periodically make recommendations and action plans to improve its functionality<\/li>\n<li>Develop a mechanism to capture relevant project outcomes to allow for documentation of project achievements\/outcomes and share information with Program Managers and the Head of Programs<\/li>\n<li>Work with Program Managers and Partners on the incorporation of ICTD solutions into on-going and new projects<span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Staff Development and Training<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the capacity building of all programming staff for M&amp;E tools and systems<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with the HOP, and the M&amp;E staff, identify the training needs of each staff and design appropriate staff and partners to systematically improve the M&amp;E practices<\/li>\n<li>Review the performance plans of M&amp;E Unit staff and provide guidance and coaching<span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Supervision<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the M&amp;E activities all projects to ensure high quality implementation and reporting<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with unit Mangers, coordinate all activities<\/li>\n<li>Supervision the work ethics of M&amp;E Staff and assist them in the performance of their duties<span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Monitoring and Evaluation<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously asses methodologies and instruments for the collection, documentation and analysis of data and the reporting of outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Make field trips to check on the progress of project implementation by local partners and provide on-side support where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to program units to conduct baseline, mid-term and end-of-term evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support to partners in the area of M&amp;E<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with program Quality Manager and Units Heads, lead the process of conduction operations research.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to program units in the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress reports.
