{"id":58832,"date":"2021-07-01T12:10:26","date_gmt":"2021-07-01T12:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=58832"},"modified":"2021-07-01T12:10:26","modified_gmt":"2021-07-01T12:10:26","slug":"anglogold-ashanti-iduapriem-limited-aail-vacancies-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/anglogold-ashanti-iduapriem-limited-aail-vacancies-2021.html","title":{"rendered":"AngloGold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Limited (AAIL) Vacancies 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Purpose of the role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To assist in planning and implementation of surface exploration on regional licenses, including project logistics, providing relevant process expertise and oversight responsibilities of the exploration activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Geologist \u2013 Exploration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in planning and implementation of surface exploration on regional licenses, including project logistics, providing relevant process expertise and oversight.<\/li>\n<li>Perform scouting of exploration activities on the lease.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and evaluate regional geological, geochemical and geophysical data and information.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in analytical compilation and assessment of regional exploration data and results<\/li>\n<li>Maintain high quality data collection, management, and storage.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the interpretation of geophysical and geochemical data and its resulting target generating exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Geological mapping and sampling of anomalies develop and rank Au targets for follow-up testing, drilling supervision and logging.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly Reporting on Exploration progress and interpretation of results and data for Regional targets<\/li>\n<li>Collate all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly exploration costs against budget, produce technical reports on regional exploration activities over these periods and prepare regional exploration monthly accruals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all geological duties on regional exploration assets and \/ or projects are carried out in a timely and effective manner.<\/li>\n<li>Provide training and supervision to Field Technicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person\u2019s Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Geology, Geological Engineering, Geophysics, Geosciences or Earth Science from a recognize institution.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years working experience in mining\/exploration industry with drill rig operation and sampling<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers<\/li>\n<li>Experience in mapping, sedimentological core logging, exploration RC &amp;
