{"id":58877,"date":"2021-07-02T17:06:36","date_gmt":"2021-07-02T17:06:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=58877"},"modified":"2021-07-02T17:06:36","modified_gmt":"2021-07-02T17:06:36","slug":"wayoe-engineering-and-construction-limited-jobs-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/wayoe-engineering-and-construction-limited-jobs-2021.html","title":{"rendered":"Wayoe Engineering and Construction Limited Jobs 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Logistics\/Transport supervisor will oversee the movement of goods and the management of transports, plants, and equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Logistics\/Transport Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage daily routes\/schedules of shipments and deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Plan shipping for stocks in and out of stores.<\/li>\n<li>Regular monitoring of all requests made through the procurement department.<\/li>\n<li>Track the progress of shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the activities between the stores and the projects.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the movement of vehicles, Plant &amp; equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the reorder level and storage of fuel for all equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Arrangement of truck for delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of driver and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Schedules for proper rotation for drivers and operators during shift works.<\/li>\n<li>Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs for third-party logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate maintenance of vehicles and equipment with the stores and maintenance department.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Ghana Free zones policies with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers(export) throughout the delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Expedite the movement of goods from the international market through the local clearing process to deliver goods in collaboration with the buyers.<\/li>\n<li>Report on fuel consumption and performance on maintenance for equipment and transports(vehicles).<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate transborder documentation regarding exportation and re-importation of Plant, Equipment, Goods, and Materials via Road, Air, or Sea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibility for Assets<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking records and monitoring all fixed assets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the necessary documentation in terms of roadworthiness and insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the renewal of fixed asset documents before the deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competences Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational &amp; Professional Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, professional qualification, CILT will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Material Management<\/li>\n<li>Full MS Office Package at minimum intermediate level<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience of working in a similar role at a comparable level in a company<\/li>\n<li>At least five (5) years of extensive work experience within the mining, construction, and a heavy lifting industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, logistics and inventory management, commercial understanding, and total cost management<\/li>\n<li>Team management dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Experience in change management in complex multi-business unit environments<\/li>\n<li>Sophisticated knowledge in transport and fleet management.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge in customs process and requirement in clearing and exporting goods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Managerial and other Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keen attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills<\/li>\n<li>Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure\/delays impact on demand on client\/companies request fulfillment.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations<\/li>\n<li>Able to build and maintain effective and productive work relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, numerically astute, and with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Logistics\/Transport supervisor will oversee the movement of goods and the management of transports, plants, and equipment.
