{"id":5897,"date":"2011-10-18T08:29:27","date_gmt":"2011-10-18T08:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5897"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:11:47","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:11:47","slug":"gimpa-ghana-jobs-instructional-resource-supervisor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/gimpa-ghana-jobs-instructional-resource-supervisor.html","title":{"rendered":"GIMPA Ghana Jobs: Instructional Resource Supervisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The successful candidate shall\u00a0generally be responsible for maintaining smooth operations of all the\u00a0cable, satellite,\u00a0television, and other audio visual equipment of\u00a0the Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He or She:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set\u00a0up audio\u00a0visual aids for all functions\/activities<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate video and audio recording<\/li>\n<li>Assist faculty and participants in the\u00a0usage of audio-visual and\u00a0other technical aids<\/li>\n<li>Service television sets and public address systems<\/li>\n<li>Maintain, service and install LCD projectors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms of Appointment:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The successful candidate shall hold office for a term of two (2) years in the first instance and may be reappointed for further terms of two years each, subject to satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0Very attractive and competitive<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have an HND in electrical\/electronic engineering or a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in any other\u00a0related field<\/li>\n<li>Must have substantial experience\u00a0in\u00a0audio visual settings, and the fixing and maintenance of audio visual equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Microsoft products and solutions, including:\u00a0Workstation operating systems (2000, XP) Microsoft Office productivity applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, Project)<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge in amplifier and power circuits<\/li>\n<li>Digital electronics and printed circuit board troubleshooting and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Computer hardware and system maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Television repairs and installation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of networking topologies and protocols, and a good understanding of the underlying hardware platform (switches, routers, wifi access points)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with remote monitoring and troubleshooting tools<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Internet communications (ftp, http, https, ssl, VPN, IPSec) and e-mail protocols and how to troubleshoot them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and with minimum or no supervision<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Interested applicants may submit their application, including their most recent curriculum vitae, to the following address:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>The Human Resource Manager<br \/>\nGhana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)<br \/>\nP.
