The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of F&amp;B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Personal Assistant to the GM\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Assistant to the General Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Personal Assistant ensures the professional and smooth operation of the hotel executive office and represents the General Manager, the hotel and Kempinski always. The job of\u00a0<strong>Personal Assistant to General Manager<\/strong>\u00a0is executed satisfactorily when the Personal Assistant coordinates, organises, and channels all efforts through the General Manager\u2019s office to ensure well-organised communication and full support to the General Manager and other departments when necessary and applicable<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure smooth operations within the executive department.<\/li>\n<li>Daily organisation of all incoming mail, calls and tracing file.<\/li>\n<li>Strong support to the General Manager with all office administration.<\/li>\n<li>Project organisation with guidance by the General Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Plan internal events and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate guest questionnaires \/ supervise Customer Satisfaction Tool.<\/li>\n<li>Act as an internal mediator between departments.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate public relation issues and sales transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute mailings.<\/li>\n<li>Complaint handling.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and coordinate VIP arrivals etc.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate hotel philosophy and represent the hotel internally and externally.<\/li>\n<li>Organise travel arrangements for the General Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings, prepare meeting minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills And Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher College Education and\/or High School Diploma, Hotel Apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<li>General office administration<\/li>\n<li>Hotel operations and administration experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:<\/li>\n<li>English \u2013 excellent oral and written skills<\/li>\n<li>Additional language \u2013 beneficial<\/li>\n<li><strong>Skills required:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Information management<\/li>\n<li>International etiquette<\/li>\n<li>Team building skills<\/li>\n<li>Planning\/organisation skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility, initiative<\/li>\n<li>Results oriented<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active hospitality skills including guest service skills<\/li>\n<li><strong>Computer literacy adapted to the field of Executive Office:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Digital equipment knowledge<\/li>\n<li>To fill this position the candidate must identify with the Kempinski core values, in addition they should be especially:<\/li>\n<li>People oriented<\/li>\n<li>Passionate for European luxury<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial<\/li>\n<li>Straightforward<\/li>\n<li>Stress management<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Role model behaviour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Kempinski<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hoteliers since 1897, we have travelled the world in search of the most fascinating destinations without ever forgetting the finest traditions of our European heritage.
