\n\u2022 Undertake email communications for the SEC based on Communications plans and Projects.
\n\u2022 Preparing and developing high-quality communications outputs as required including press releases, public notices, newsletters, presentations, preparing detailed media reports, and other marketing materials.
\n\u2022 Work with the Communications team to identify content opportunities and produce the relevant materials.
\n\u2022 Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build positive stakeholder engagement and enhance the image and reputation of the SEC.
\n\u2022 Prepare detailed media activity reports.
\n\u2022 Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials.
\n\u2022 Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
\n\u2022 Create communication and marketing strategies for events, activities, and initiatives in line with the SEC\u2019s roadmap and Unit\u2019s work plan.
\n\u2022 Supervise communications projects and initiatives to guarantee all content is delivered has a high-quality output and executed within agreed timelines.
\n\u2022 Support the Marketing & Communications team in all aspects of the team\u2019s work as required.
\n\u2022 Develop public relations strategies aimed at enhancing the SEC\u2019s image.
\n\u2022 Manage content team to produce relevant, compelling social media updates aimed at enhancing investor education and meeting other goals.
\n\u2022 Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases, press kits, and related materials.
\n\u2022 Maintain excellent relationships with the media.
\n\u2022 Analyze media coverage; develop responses when needed.
\n\u2022 Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, visits, and exhibitions.
\n\u2022 Create and manage Public Relations (PR) budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules.
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual media activity reports to the Unit Head, etc.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Professional qualification such as CIMGH, CIMUK, IPRG or any other relevant professional body and in good standing is an advantage.
\n\u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is a must.
\n\u2022 A minimum of nine (9) years post-bachelor\u2019s degree relevant work experience, two (2) of which must be in a similar position in a reputable organization.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n\u2022 Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
\n\u2022 Have superior research and report writing skills.
\n\u2022 Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with great attention to details.
\n\u2022 Ability to keep confidential information.
\n\u2022 Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms.
\n\u2022 Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours.
\n\u2022 Must be very innovative and creative.
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations, guidelines relating to the securities industry and the capital market in general.
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of the securities market operations.
\n\u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.<\/p>\n
