This should include virtual presence<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist-Southern PIIA\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Keeps and maintain a high contact with contractors, service providers and suppliers for the provision of goods, material, equipment, utilities repairs and maintenance that would ensure Plan receives value for money.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintains a high contact with all country office staff to receive and process requests for procurement related services.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintains medium contact with staff in the program unit office to offer support, information, influence and or reasoning with regards to procurement related issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A minimum of academic qualification of Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 4-6 years progressive work experience in a similar position in an INGO environment.<br \/>\n\u2022 A member of Procurement professional body such as CIPs, ISM, MGIPs etc is an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Solid knowledge of Procurement systems and practices, policies and procedures<br \/>\n\u2022 Good understanding of donor rules and regulations is a plus<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong negotiation skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated behaviors needed by the post-holder to successfully perform the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Timeliness and proactive in the discharge of duties<br \/>\n\u2022 Good planning organizational abilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Communicates in a manner that inspires confidence and professionalism<br \/>\n\u2022 Good supervisory and listening abilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Open to feedback and willingness to adopt to new approaches and processes<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to inter-face with all levels of management<br \/>\n\u2022 Analytical and attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 Good team player<br \/>\n\u2022 Safety and security conscious<br \/>\n\u2022 Good presentation and attention to details<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This section refers to people inside and\/or outside of the organisation that the post-holder needs to have contact with, and why.
