Dredging services cover urban dredging and environmental dredging, dredging of dams, rivers and lagoons, maintenance dredging of ports and harbors.<\/p>\n<p>Marine construction activities involve beach nourishments, coastal defense and other coastal protection measures.<\/p>\n<p>The company is also active in urban drainage and drain construction.<\/p>\n<p>Dredge Masters Limited (DML) is an ISO certified company with certification in Quality ISO 9001:2015, Occupational Health and Safety ISO 45001:2018 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 standards.<\/p>\n<p>DML is known for quality and high operational excellence and adheres to sustainable development goals (SDG\u2019s)<\/p>\n<p>DML is seeking to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE: Team Leader\/Dredging Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Accra<\/p>\n<p>Posted on: July 19, 2021<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: August 6, 2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To discharge Duties and Responsibilities as Project\/ Dredging Manager as per the project deliverables including but not limited to schedule budget specification\/ quality standard.<\/p>\n<p>REPORT TO: Managing Director<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall in charge of the dredging Projects (Urban dredging, Dam dredging, river dredging and maintenance dredging)<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with client and relevant stake holders.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering project on specification, schedule and within the budget.<\/li>\n<li>Overall in Charge for Health, Safety, Security and Environment with strict adherence to Integrated Management System (MIS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical consultancy with relation to dredging &amp; marine contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate design, engineering parameters with principals, suggest modifications as per site conditions<\/li>\n<li>Planning and directing the logistical activities to the project<\/li>\n<li>Provides guidance, instruction, direction and\u00a0leadership\u00a0to the\u00a0team for the purpose of achieving a key result or group of aligned results.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare management reports, market analysis and performance reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Advice in the recruitment of technical, administrative, sales and support staff for the division.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Bachelor\u2019s or equivalent degree<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience as a dredging manager<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Urban dredging, Dam dredging, inland dredging, marine construction will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, skills and abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Management experience in dredging industry with emphasis in urban dredging, dam dredging, inland dreading, marine construction and sea defense.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in project management soft wares.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants may submit application and curriculum vitae to the under listed email address on or before 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>To:<strong>\u00a0career@dmlghana.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DML is a market leader in dredging and has a sizable presence in Marine and Civil Construction.
