Company is also active in urban drainage and drain construction.<\/p>\n<p>Dredge Masters Limited (DML) is an ISO certified company with certification in Quality ISO 9001:2015, occupational health and safety ISO 45001:2018 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 standards from Bureau Veritas.<\/p>\n<p>DML is known for quality and high operational excellence and adheres to sustainable development goals (SDG\u2019s)<\/p>\n<p>DML is seeking to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Accra<\/p>\n<p>Posted on:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 July 19, 2021<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 July 30, 2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DML is currently looking for a\u00a0<strong>Project Engineer<\/strong>\u00a0for our project sites who has the relevant technical skills with a good level of mathematics and physics that allows for the identification of engineering problems, appreciable knowledge in project management and a good verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REPORTS TO:\u00a0 DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Project Engineer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA\/QC, TQM six sigma policies, performance standards and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast, resources and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from inception to completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations<\/li>\n<li>Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures<\/li>\n<li>Resolving design and development problems<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and implementing project plans.<\/li>\n<li>Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety<\/li>\n<li>Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>JOB SPECIFICATION<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven work experience as a Project Engineer with over 8years experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Project and MS Office.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarizing with regulations, best practices and performance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.<\/li>\n<li>Project management and supervision skills<\/li>\n<li>Member of a recognized engineering body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants may submit application and curriculum vitae to the under listed email address on or before 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>To:<strong>\u00a0career@dmlghana.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DML is a market leader in dredging and has a sizable presence in Marine and Civil Construction.
