{"id":59625,"date":"2021-07-29T11:30:43","date_gmt":"2021-07-29T11:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=59625"},"modified":"2021-07-29T11:30:43","modified_gmt":"2021-07-29T11:30:43","slug":"anglogold-ashanti-limited-jobs-2021-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/anglogold-ashanti-limited-jobs-2021-2.html","title":{"rendered":"AngloGold Ashanti Limited Jobs 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (IDUAPRIEM) LIMITED (A subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti Limited) operate the combine Teberebie and Iduapriem open-pits gold mines at Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana and has a work force of over 1400, including contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from ambitious, energetic and performance driven individuals to fill in vacant position(s) mentioned below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position: Senior Engineer \u2013 Mine Planning (Medium Term)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Contract Type\/Duration: Permanent<\/p>\n<p>Number of Position(s): One (1)<\/p>\n<p>Department: Mining<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide technical mine designs to support the production and planning functions as well as performing sophisticated engineering duties to support mine studies and projects.<\/p>\n<p><b><strong>Role Accountabilities<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the technical services team and support functions in providing technical operational support<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace for all employees and external service providers by complying with existing processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Complies with existing processes to ensure that all environmental risks and emerging issues are identified<\/li>\n<li>Utilizes and maintains processes to ensure the development of optimized plans that ensure delivery of the budget requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the use of department resources &amp; time are optimized to ensure delivery of the required designs.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance to short-term planning \/ scheduling to ensure alignment to longer-term goals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing long term guidelines &amp; procedures and ensure they are updated bi-annually as required.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in planning the work required to deliver reserve calculations in an accurate and timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize established systems to collect and manage operational data, monitor performance and for identifying opportunities to drive operational excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with short term to ensure compliance to the plans.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure pit &amp;
