{"id":5998,"date":"2011-10-24T08:50:35","date_gmt":"2011-10-24T08:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=5998"},"modified":"2016-11-18T13:05:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T13:05:38","slug":"newmont-ghana-gold-recruits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/newmont-ghana-gold-recruits.html","title":{"rendered":"Newmont Ghana Gold Recruits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HSLP Coordinator &#8211; Ahafo Operations<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\"><strong>Newmont Ghana Gold<\/strong> <\/a>Limited a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the World&#8217;s largest gold mining companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Superintendent and will carry out the requirements of the Integrated and Health Safety and Loss Prevention Management Systems for the Ahafo operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and administer programs to prevent accidents\/incidents and loss due to processing activities including plant maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice to line management regarding hazard identification, risk management, safety rules, regulations, trends, statistics and compliance<\/li>\n<li>Participate in accident\/incident investigations to discover root causes and identify corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence<\/li>\n<li>Conduct health and safety inspections and audits. Prepare reports and close out corrective actions in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Develop health and safety policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree or Graduate Diploma in Health, Safety and Loss Prevention<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of 5 years&#8217; working experience in and safety field with an extractive industry<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of Safety Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of risk management and loss prevention processes<\/li>\n<li>Accident\/incident investigation experience<\/li>\n<li>Auditing, training and first aid qualifications desirable<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for this position, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<div><strong>The Human Resources Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Ghana Gold Limited<br \/>\nP.
