She\/he will carry out the requirements of the Integrated and Health Safety and Loss Prevention Management Systems for the Ahafo Operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administer <a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\"><strong>Newmont programs<\/strong><\/a> to prevent accidents\/incidents and loss at the Ahafo Mine<\/li>\n<li>Manage weekly, monthly and yearly HSLP internal\u00a0and external reporting processes<\/li>\n<li>Manage the activities as inspections, safety\u00a0meetings and safety behaviour programs<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice to department managers about hazard identification, risk management, safety rules<\/li>\n<li>Work with the HSLP Co-ordinators to increase their HSLP skill levels and knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s degree or Graduate Diploma in Health, Safety and Loss Prevention is preferable<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years&#8217; working experience in the health and safety field in an extractive industry or 8 years&#8217; experience with no degree<\/li>\n<li>Continuing HSE educational programs is essential.
