The successful candidate will report to the Manager Exploration and will implement, manage, and complete assignments in two or more fields of geoscience.<\/p>\n
Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Evaluate exploration, development or acquisition opportunities in a significant area of exploration activity, on a major project, or in a mine operations<\/li>\n
- Supervise geological mapping, drill core or chip logging, drill hole planning, drill program execution, computer deposit modeling, hydrologic and metallurgical investigations among others<\/li>\n
- Provide geochemical training to other geologists<\/li>\n
- Fully participate in technical geologists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance\/Operation Training Superintendent and will develop, coordinate and monitor training in the Process Maintenance and Mine Maintenance Department for experienced fixed plant, mine maintenance boiler makers and mechanical apprentices.<\/p>\n
Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Model\u00a0and promote expected behaviors, with particular emphasis on desired values, safe work practice, punctuality, efficiency and quality of work<\/li>\n
- Conduct training needs analysis and develop training plans for process and mine\u00a0maintenance<\/li>\n
- Monitor progress of apprentices and\u00a0provide coaching and instruction as required<\/li>\n
- Maintain accurate records of all training and assessment activities<\/li>\n
- Apply vocational guidance and counseling as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

4.\u00a0Project Controls Engineer – Ahafo Operations<\/div>\n

The successful candidate will report to the Project Controls Manage. S\/he will be responsible for providing cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, change control and forecasting for the Operations Services and Projects groups.<\/p>\n
Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Assist with cost estimates from\u00a0conceptual estimates (factored\u00a0from historically similar projects) to detailed estimates\u00a0prepared\u00a0from drawings<\/li>\n
- Develop and\u00a0maintain spreadsheets or databases of estimates, forecasts, commitments, costs, changes, and progress for reporting on same<\/li>\n
- Provide the accounting department with accruals\u00a0based on work in place<\/li>\n
- Develop and maintain project and departmental schedules using Primavera or MS\u00a0Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
