Multimedia Support Officer at Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences will assist Staff and Principal Officers in using all forms of ICT and other Multimedia equipment in the Secretariat<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: ICT &amp; Multimedia Support Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Staff and Principal Officers in using all forms of ICT and other Multimedia equipment in the Secretariat<\/li>\n<li>Install and maintain the Academy\u2019s computer systems and network<\/li>\n<li>install, adjust, and operate the audio, video. and related equipment to record, edit and transmit video conferences and multimedia presentations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct lady backup operations, diagnose, repair, or recommend for repair and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computers and audio-visual systems<\/li>\n<li>Set up computer equipment for users, performing and ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems and appropriate software<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance and support to users, investigate and resolve their hardware and software problems. and train them in the proper use of hardware or software<\/li>\n<li>Establish cordial relationships with personnel in all departments<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duty assigned by the Executive Secretary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Audiovisual System Engineering, Computer Science, Creative or Multimedia Studies or related field<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least four years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and excellent technical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving skits<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office Suite software skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair studio sound and lighting equipment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assemble and operate Voice to Text software<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate and maintain audio, video, and multimedia reproduction equipment<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in graphics, photo-imaging, operating systems, video creation and editing, office productivity software, webpage creation, and editing software<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of video camera functionality<\/li>\n<li>Ability to differentiate between various audio, video, computer, and network cables and connectors<\/li>\n<li>Must provide professional portfolio including at least three best work samples and digital communications products, if selected for an interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All applications should be addressed and e-mailed to Honorary Secretary:\u00a0<strong>vacancies@gaas-gh.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: September 17, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ICT &amp;
